Dr. Tara Britt

Tara Britt, VMD is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. She was born in a small town in Pennsylvania and received her veterinary training at the University of Pennsylvania. After graduation in 2002, Dr. Britt completed a small animal internship and surgical residency at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in New Jersey and discovered her passion for surgery. In 2006, she moved to Fort Collins, Colorado to complete the surgical oncology fellowship at Colorado State University where she performed limb sparing surgeries, chest wall reconstructions and maxillofacial resections. This was Dr. Britt's first extended time away from the east coast and she fell in love with the west. She has worked in multi-specialty practices in Gilbert, Arizona and Englewood, Colorado performing orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries.  Dr. Britt strongly believes treating the individual patient and utilizes minimally invasive procedures when appropriate using techniques such as arthroscopy, laparoscopy and thoracoscopy. Outside of work, Tara enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters.  She also tries to find time for downhill skiing, traveling, yoga and gardening.
